slate grey color
slate grey with flash
. I am a contact lens user for  almost 2 decades now. I went to the nearest optical shop to get another one because I lost my clear contact lens in our hotel in Baguio for summer. I buy my contact lens at executive optical shops. The salesllady offered me colored contact lens because it is on sale. "Mam,try our colored contact lens you can have 2 pairs for P950.00." Wow, 2 pairs for P950.00!, I usually get my clear contact lens for 1k a pair. So,I said, why not try it. I fit the slate grey color, since I like Meagan Fox eyes. I like it! Then the other pair I fitted was the color light brown but it didn't turn out nice.I look sick with it. The saleslady suggested sandalwood, almost color brown but with a black outline unlike the light brown which is more of a color yellow..It also looks good on me.I got the two pairs. Here are some of the pictures of me and the lenses.I haven't opn the sandalwood color.Post some pictures if I wear it next time.

I love the sun so much especially during summer and since I am morena, I always ended up darker than my real shade and so when whitening soaps came out,I hoard every whitening soap I can to maintain my real color..Haha.  Here are some of the most effective whitening soaps I have used. The most effective for me is Godiva since it has licorice ingredients next is cyleina black pearl soap which has arbutin and licorice too.Licorice is 10 times powerful than Vitamin C and 30 times more active than melawhite and kojic acid.

I love reading books written by chinese authors. My favorite chinese authors are Adeline Yen Mah and Amy Tan. I love how they write, very honest and informative. I love how Amy Tan explore a mother and daughter relationships.I can relate how she narrates it. At Adeline Yen Mah's books, I realize that stories from telenovelas exist! Here are some of the books I have read from these famous chinese authors.

Winter Holiday in Hongkong

At Hongkong Disneyland
At Ocean Park HK
At Avenue of Stars,Victoria Harbour Hongkong
I have done travels only within our country. I want to explore first places within our country, I dont want to be a stranger in our own country but I cannot say no to my children when they wanted to go to Hongkong because of Disneyland. And so My husband and I decided to go there by tour since it will be our first time there. We got the tour inside Festival Mall, Alabang. Three days and two nights. On the first day,we will try to rest and in the afternoon we went to the Peak,Madame Tussauds wax Museum and the Night Market. On the Second day we went to a jewelry factory and Pasalubong store then to Disneyland and on the third day The Waterfront,Victoria Harbour and  Ocean Park. By 5pm we have to be in the airport for departure. My eldest wanted to go on a month of  December for us to experience the so called winter season. I was so apprehensive at first since I cannot bear a cold weather. Your guess was right, It was 9 degrees celcius when we arrived there. Super cold without the snow. I cannot barely walk because of the cold same with the rest of the family. My youngest daughter is complaining because of her open sandals which slipped my mind,so we have to buy her a rubber shoes in the nearest mall.

Hongkong International
At Madame Tussauds wax Museum

In front of Sasa store

Our chosen hotel BP International Hotel was located at Tsim Tsa Tsui, the downtown of Hongkong similar to Manila. Very lucky that beside this hotel is a 7-11 store and a grocery named  Park and Shop. And across the hotel is a Sasa store, very lucky indeed! My husband who is more lakwatsero than me was even able to explore the place. He and my eldest dined in a dimsum restaurant nearby, eat the food at sidewalks and went to malls beside the hotel.

Next time you travel and chose it outside the country,go with someone. It is more worth it if you have a family or a friend with you in a strange country and be sure to have a credit card with you for emergency purposes.

Gumbo in the Philippines

Gumbo means stew or soup that probably originated in Lousiana. Gumbo is served in different variety in the state of New Orleans which can now be experience in the Philippines. These is the theme of the Gumbo Restaurant in SM Mall of Asia located at the the Bay Blvd.Second Floor. Gumbo is a casual dining restaurant that provide extra ordinary atmosphere of fun, quality food and best service. You've got to experience wearing the mardi gras masks and hats while enjoying your food! We have ordered their bourbon style ribs, seafood jambalaya and seafood spagettini. The price is reasonable and they have large servings.

Dinner at Marciano's Greenbelt 3

I love their ceiling!

Marciano's Restaurant is co-owned by the actor Marvin Agustin. This is an Italian Restaurant for a cheaper price. Named after the boxer Rocky Marciano. I love their pizza, sausages and pastas. Just paid less than P2k for a dinner for four. The cozy ambiance in this restaurant is so romantic. If you are on a date for two this would be an appropriate place.
